Mom and Dad in the UK!!
Back in July, my mom and dad came to visit Rich and I in the UK. It was the first time in the 8 years that I've been abroad that they came to visit me, so it was something I had really been looking forward to. Interestingly, I think that the time I spent with them here was the most time I'd ever spent alone with my parents- and I really enjoyed it. They're pretty neat people :)
While they were here, Geoff and Sylvia also flew in from Cyprus, so we all got to spend some time together. With the two sets of parents in two different countries and us in a third, I don't know if that will happen again, so it was rather special for all of us to be together and to get to know each other a bit better.
Here are a few pics from their visit.
My dad in front of a sign that he found comical (Oxford)

Mom and Dad in front of Buckingham Palace (London)

Mom, Dad and yours truly in front of Westminster Abbey (London)

GREAT pics, carol! how many wedding parties are you going to have, though? (personally, i think you should have as many as you want cuz you only get married once, unlike birthdays which keep happening year after year!)
the tea in the castle looks sooo fun, and your parents look the same as i remember them from all those many years ago when i lived in st. joe. give them my best and let them know that next time they're on this side of the pond they should consider a week in the netherlands.
how fun for all of you! i'm so happy for you!
okay, this was a fun post and all, but it's been seriously like 2 months. anything else going on with you guys? what will you do for thanksgiving?
